ASCAP 2024 ACM Nominees Revealed: Chris Stapleton, Jordan Davis, Kelsea Ballerini, Old Dominion, Tracy Chapman and More

Celebrating an incredible year in country music, the Academy of Country Music (ACM) announced the nominations for its 59th annual ceremony. ACM Triple Crown Award winner Chris Stapleton leads the ASCAP ACM nominations with five nods, including his ninth consecutive nomination for Male Artist of the Year.
Following closely behind with four nominations, Jordan Davis received recognition for his chart-topping song “Next Thing You Know” with nods in the Single of the Year, Song of the Year and Visual Media of the Year categories. Meanwhile, Kelsea Ballerini received three nominations, including two separate nominations for Album of the Year as both Artist and Producer, marking her first album to be nominated for ACM Album of the Year.
Reigning Group of the Year Old Dominion is once again nominated in the category after winning the honor six years in a row. No strangers to the ACMs, this year marks the first time that all members have received production credits on a nomination, with Brad Tursi, Geoff Sprung, Matthew Ramsey, Trevor Rosen and Whit Sellers joining as producers on “Can’t Break Up Now,” which is nominated for Music Event of the Year.
As “Fast Car” continues to captivate listeners 35 years after its initial release, Tracy Chapman receives her first ACM nomination for writing the hit song, which has reached No. 1 on the Country Airplay chart and No. 2 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 chart.
“Country Music’s Party of the Year'' will stream live on Prime Video on Thursday, May 16 at 8 p.m. EDT/7 p.m. CDT/5 p.m. PDT from Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas.
