The Songwriters Hall of Fame (SHOF) has named ASCAP members Agua Tinta, Jastin Martin, nobigdyl. and August Ponthier as recipients of the 2026 Abe Olman Scholarships for Excellence in Songwriting. Additionally ASCAP singer-songwriter Maris has been awarded the SHOF John Titta Scholarship, named in honor of the late John Titta, a beloved ASCAP executive.

Broadway's biggest night returned to Radio City Music Hall in NYC on Sunday, June 7, and the evening singular and sensational – particularly for ASCAP's musical theatre creators Cinco Paul and the duo of Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty. Both of their musicals, Schmigadoon! and Ragtime respectively, took home 4 Tony Awards!
