18 ASCAP Screen Music Pros Tapped for 2025 Primetime Emmys
By Etan Rosenbloom, AVP + Deputy Editor, Marketing + Communications • July 15, 2025
The nominations for the 2025 Primetime Creative Arts Emmys are out, and the field is full of many of ASCAP’s biggest small screen talents. All in all, 18 members of our global screen music family are up for Emmys in September, across 17 nominations in all six music categories.
Leading the pack is Cristobal Tapia de Veer, who earned two nominations for his score and theme to The White Lotus (the same series that earned him four ASCAP Composers’ Choice Awards in 2022 and 2023). We’re also thrilled to see a nomination for Michael Bearden, an alumnus of the ASCAP Film Scoring Workshop; nominations for ASCAP Creative Voice Award winner Questlove and ASCAP Henry Mancini Award winner Hans Zimmer; and a nod for brand new ASCAP member Laurentia Editha. We’re so proud to be a part of all of your stories!
