Lainey Wilson, Jordan Davis, Chris Stapleton, Tracy Chapman and More Honored as 2023 CMA Nominees

In a history-making reveal, the Country Music Association announced the nominees for the 57th annual CMA Awards – giving major nods to the ASCAP country music family.
ASCAP member Lainey Wilson is the most-nominated music creator this year with nine nominations, making CMA Awards history yet again as the only artist to top the nominations list in her first two appearances on the Final Ballot.
Other top ASCAP nominees include Kelsea Ballerini, Jordan Davis, Carly Pearce, Jordan Schmidt and Chris Stapleton with three nominations each.
Acclaimed ASCAP singer-songwriter Tracy Chapman received her first CMA nomination for “Fast Car” 35 years after its initial release. First-time ASCAP CMA nominees also include John Osborne, Hunter Phelps and Hailey Whitters.
Honoring 23 ASCAP members and groups with 46 nominations, the 57th CMA Awards will air live from Nashville on Wednesday, November 8 on ABC.
