ASCAP ACM Winners Revealed: Lainey Wilson, Ashley Gorley, Chris Stapleton and More Win Big at the 2023 Awards

Co-hosted by global superstar and ASCAP legend Garth Brooks, the 58th Academy of Country Music Awards celebrated country music’s biggest stars and emerging talent during a star-studded evening at The Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas.

 

Lainey Wilson took home ACM Female Artist of the Year, ACM Album of the Year, ACM Music Event of the Year and ACM Visual Media of the Year. With four wins, Wilson tied for the most-awarded artist of the evening.

 

Chris Stapleton won the night’s top honor, ACM Entertainer of the Year, for the first time. With this win, he qualifies for the coveted ACM Triple Crown Award, honoring artists who have won New Artist of the Year, Artist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year.

 

Nine-time ASCAP Country Songwriter of the Year Ashley Gorley won both Songwriter of the Year and Song of the Year. Gorley received an impressive three nominations for Song of the Year, making him the third songwriter to achieve this feat in ACM Awards history.

 

Rising star Hailey Whitters was recognized as New Female Artist of the Year. Brothers Osborne took home Duo of the Year for the fourth time, while Old Dominion’s win for Group of the Year marks their sixth time taking home the honor.

 

Songwriters Zach Crowell, Mark D. Sanders and Jordan Schmidt were awarded for their work on Single of the Year, Song of the Year and Music Event of the Year respectively.
