Hosted by 16-time ACM Award-winning entertainment icon and ASCAP member Reba McEntire, the Academy of Country Music (ACM) celebrated six decades of country music during its 60th annual ceremony. The ASCAP family celebrated a number of exciting victories and musical moments.

 

Country music legend Alan Jackson received the inaugural Alan Jackson Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his outstanding achievements and enduring legacy in country music. Jackson’s career has become a cornerstone of the genre with over 75 million records sold worldwide, more than 50 Top 10 hits and 35 #1 singles on the Billboard country charts.

 

As reigning ACM Group of the Year, Old Dominion broke a record with their eighth consecutive win in the category. Country music superstar Chris Stapleton won for ACM Male Artist of the Year, marking the second year in a row he’s won the award and his fifth time overall. Producer Will Bundy took home awards for Single of the Year, Visual Media of the Year and Music Event of the Year for his work on the chart-topping hit “you look like you love me.”

 

ASCAP members also lit up the stage with unforgettable performances from Jackson, McEntire, Stapleton, Rascal Flatts, Shaboozey, Kelsea Ballerini, Brothers Osborne, Wynonna Judd, LeAnn Rimes, Dan + Shay and more.
