Chris Stapleton, Kacey Musgraves, Kelsea Ballerini, Shaboozey, Nate Smith and More Honored as 2024 CMA Nominees

Honoring top country music creators, the Country Music Association (CMA) recently announced the nominees for The 58th Annual CMA Awards. With 37 nominations overall, the ASCAP country music family sure has a lot to celebrate!

 

Seven-time CMA Male Vocalist of the Year Chris Stapleton leads the ASCAP nominations with five nominations, receiving his eighth nod for Entertainer of the Year and tenth for Male Vocalist of the Year. He adds nominations for Album of the Year with Higher, along with Single and Song of the Year for his hit “White Horse,” written with fellow ASCAP member Dan Wilson. With this year’s nods, Stapleton has been recognized with 39 total CMA nominations since 2015.

 

ASCAP’s Kacey Musgraves receives three nominations, including Female Vocalist of the Year, Musical Event of the Year and Album of the Year. Meanwhile, celebrated pop songwriter-producer Louis Bell also lands three nominations as a first-time CMA nominee for his production and songwriting on chart-topping hit “I Had Some Help” in the Single of the Year, Song of the Year and Musical Event of the Year categories.

 

Kelsea Ballerini celebrates two nominations for Female Vocalist of the Year and Musical Event of the Year for “Cowboys Cry Too,” her popular collaboration with fellow ASCAP member and first-time CMA nominee Noah Kahan.

 

First-time ASCAP CMA Awards nominees also include Will Bundy, Sean Cook, Kevin “Thrasher” Gruft, Shaboozey and Nate Smith.

 

The 58th Annual CMA Awards will air live from Nashville on Wednesday, November 20 on ABC and next day on Hulu.
