Gloria Gaynor, George Strait, KISS to Earn Kennedy Center Honors

The recipients of the 48th Kennedy Center Honors have been announced – and all the musical honorees are members of our ASCAP family!
The 2025 honorees include disco, R&B and soul superstar Gloria Gaynor; the members of beloved glam band KISS; and country music veteran George Strait.
The Kennedy Center Honors recognizes artists who have made an extraordinary impact on the cultural life of our nation and continue to have an immeasurable influence on new generations. Past ASCAP Kennedy Center Honorees include Philip Glass, Reba McEntire, Lionel Richie, Paul McCartney, Leonard Bernstein, Stephen Sondheim, Stevie Wonder, Quincy Jones, Bonnie Raitt, Lin-Manuel Miranda and more.
