The ASCAP Family @ Kraków Film Music Festival (FMF)

On May 23-30, 2023, the 16th Kraków Film Music Festival (FMF) presented a world class film music festival with concerts, educational programs hosting finalists from the FMF Young Talent Award competition, and a number of audio visual industry panels.

Program highlights included music from composers; Nainita Desai (14 Peaks: Nothing Is Impossible), Simon Franglen (Avatar: The Way of Water, symphonic suite written for “The Highest Art Space In The World” in Shanghai), the late Jóhann Jóhannsson (Sicario, Arrival) and Steven Price (Gravity). The series of evening concerts also presented an anniversary gala for the Academy Award-winning composer Jan A.P. Kaczmarek (Finding Neverland, Anna Karenina) and concluded with an evening dedicated to the music of Patrick Doyle (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire).
