ASCAP TV Maestros Dominate 2022 Primetime Creative Arts Emmys

Our global family of TV music all-stars celebrated a victory at the Primetime Creative Arts Emmys this past Saturday and Sunday, earning four out of six trophies awarded to music creators throughout the weekend.
Cristobal Tapia de Veer added his first two Emmys to a heaving awards mantle, for his whimsically innovative theme and score to HBO’s The White Lotus. Earlier this year, de Veer’s percussion and flute fever dreams earned two honors from his ASCAP peers at the 2022 ASCAP Composers’ Choice Awards.
Cinco Paul, showrunner and principal lyricist for the musical comedy Schmigadoon!, also won an Emmy for the show’s silly singalong "Corn Puddin’.”
And the great Adam Blackstone took home the Emmy for music directing the massive Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show, which starred ASCAP legends Dr. Dre, Mary J. Blige and 50 Cent.
These were the first Emmys for Cristobal, Cinco and Adam. Congratulations gentlemen!
