2022 ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Music Awards

The 2022 ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Music Awards brought together the urban music community on ASCAP’s socials for a virtual celebration of the hip-hop, R&B and gospel music that defined the last year. Lil Baby was the big winner, earning his second Songwriter of the Year award. Sony Music Publishing clinched the triple crown, winning Publisher of the Year at the Rhythm & Soul Music Awards in the same quarter that they earned the same title at our Pop and Latin Music awards.

To cap off the week, we hosted hosted a very special ASCAP Experience session with R&B/hip-hop legend Ashanti, telling the stories behind her biggest hits.
