Global ASCAP Family Nominated for 2021 World Soundtrack Awards
August 13, 2021
We are thrilled to congratulate 22 members of our global film music family on their nominations for the 2021 World Soundtrack Awards – one of screen music’s most prestigious honors!
A special tip of the hat to Nainita Desai for her trifecta of nominations; Natalie Holt and Daniel Pemberton for their nominations in two categories; and ASCAP Board member Jon Batiste, who could be on his way to adding a World Soundtrack Award to his Oscar, Golden Globe and ASCAP Composers' Choice: Film Score of the Year award for scoring Soul alongside Trent Reznor. We're also elated to see among the nominees Gavin Brivik, a participant in our 2017 ASCAP/Columbia University Film Scoring Workshop!
Congrats to our ASCAP screen music family for their nominations!
